Welcome!

Hello and welcome to the Chippewa County Chapter of the American Red Cross. We are located in the Eastern Upper Peninsula of Michigan, on the St. Mary's River and Lake Superior. This chapter has been serving the residents of Chippewa County since our original charter in 1917.

Our mission as a humanitarian organization is to provide relief to victims of disaster and help people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies. We also extend services to Mackinac and Luce Counties.

We are building a web site for the first time thanks to a grant from the National Red Cross organization and the Department of Defense. We are focusing our pages and information on our Services to the Armed Forces at this time.

Within a short time we will be loading additional pages describing in-depth, our Disaster Services, Health and Safety classes, as well as blood drive information and links.
